Recall Announces Newest Secure Destruction Facility in Erlanger, Kentucky
State-of-the-Art Site to Deliver Industry-Leading Services and Solutions to the Entire Ohio Valley Region
Norcross, Ga.—January 24, 2012—Recall, a global leader in document storage, secure document destruction, digital document management and data protection, today announced the opening of its newest Secure Destruction (SDS) facility in Erlanger, Kentucky. The state-of-the art facility will feature new data grinders to securely destroy confidential information. The new site will provide services for businesses throughout the Ohio Valley Region. Recall will serve areas as far north as Columbus, Ohio, south to Northern Tennessee, west to Evansville, Indiana and east to Summersville, West Virginia.
As with all Recall SDS facilities, the Erlanger site is part of a closed-loop system to ensure document security before and after the destruction process. Documents are placed in secure bins and scanned at the customer’s location. Then, bins are retrieved by a trained security service representative and re-scanned to a secure vehicle before being transported to the facility. Upon arrival, confidential documents are shredded and baled, employing industry-leading security methods. Recall then recycles securely-destroyed documents at every possible opportunity, reinforcing its dedication to eco-friendly business practices. The process concludes with a certificate of destruction provided to the customer.
“We’re very excited to expand Recall’s solutions and services, and look forward to building new relationships with businesses across the Ohio Valley region,” said Mark Wesley, president of Recall North America. “Identity theft prevention and governmental compliance are two of the most common areas of concern for businesses which store confidential documents. Because we take every precaution necessary to ensure secure destruction, businesses can rest assured that their confidential documents never get into the wrong hands.”
Employees at the Erlanger facility must undergo a series of screenings, are required to participate in comprehensive security training and must pass certification.
